On 1st December Priyanka and Joravar Sachdev, gave Pune an F&B offering – Two Mad Cookks. Just like the name suggests, they themselves are the cooks of this outlet. This decision to branch out into a new venture came during the lockdown wherein they explored new ingredients, new recipes and a lot of love for coffee.

Taking their experiments further, they have decided to explore other bars and restaurants to showcase Two Mad Cookks and thus began the TMC pop up.

Their first Pop Up happens at Independence Brewing Co Mundhwa on Wednesday, 10th March i.e. tomorrow, 6pm onwards.

The menu has been curated by Priyanka and Joravar along with the team at IBC to give you a perfect pairing of some iconic regional Indian food along with their fabulous beers and cocktails.

The pop up menu features 9 dishes divided into 5 starters and 4 mains. The main course has been designed along with the corresponding curry to go with the apt Indian Bread.

Joravar’s family hails from Amritsar and so he has grown up on the Mutton Tikke of the streets and this is on the menu. His love for Mutton also gave rise to a recipe which he learnt during the lockdown preparing the Nihari masala from scratch and they sold over 109 kilos of Mutton Nihari over the lockdown. This dish is now on the pop up menu.

‘You have to try the half meter kebab, which I have been inspired from the Iranian restaurants in Dubai, it’s a kebab you haven’t tried before’ says Priyanka Sachdev, who is actually preparing a ‘half meter kebab’ for the pop-up.

Last but not the least is the Saoji Chicken Masala for those in love with Mahrashtrian food and Independence Brewing Co suggests to cool this down with their Lager.

This collaboration between Priyanka, Joravar and Independence Brewing Co is something you don’t want to miss. Book your perfect evening with your family and loved ones to celebrate the love for food and beers.
