A Beer Experience You’ve Probably Never Had Before

If you think you’ve tried all kinds of beer, this might change your mind. Baner folks can now decide the froth quanity in their beer glass! This newly opened bar in Baner lets you decide the beer froth quantity which goes in their beer glass! Dorf Brewhouse on Baner Pashan Link Road is now home to India’s first Lukr Tap, imported all the way from the Czech Republic.

This is not just another tap, it completely changes how your beer looks, feels, and tastes.

3 Unique Ways to Drink Your Beer

With the Lukr Tap, you can actually choose how your beer is served:

  • Milko (Milk)– 10% beer, 90% foam. Light, creamy, and super easy to drink.
  • Šnyt (Cut/Split)– 40% beer, 60% foam. A balanced mix.
  • Hladinka (Smooth)– 80% beer, 20% foam. Closest to a regular pour, but much smoother.

Each style gives you a completely different experience from the same beer.

What Makes the Lukr Tap So Special

The Lukr Tap is designed to control the foam-to-beer ratio while pouring. And this foam is not your usual beer foam.

The beer passes through a special mesh at high pressure, creating a micro-foam that is smooth, creamy, and stable. What’s even more interesting is that this foam slowly settles back into beer without losing its flavour.

A Story Rooted in Czech Culture

This style of beer dates back to Czech labourers who didn’t have time for long drinking sessions. They preferred Milko, because it was quicker and easier to consume while still enjoying the flavour.

So what you’re trying here is not just a new trend, it’s a piece of history.

Rare, Authentic & Constantly Changing

The Lukr Tap is not easy to get. It’s expensive, almost 30 times more than a regular tap, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. At Dorf Brewhouse, they also rotate the beer on the Lukr Tap every month, so you can keep coming back and try different beers in this unique style.

The Perfect Pairing- Jhalmuri

We also tried their Kolkata-style Jhalmuri, and it pairs surprisingly well with the beer. It’s a mix of puffed rice, sev, groundnuts, onion, carrot, black chana, green chillies, and sprouted chickpeas, all tossed in mustard oil infused with mango pickle.

The mixture is spicy, tangy, and full of flavour, which balances so well with the smooth, creamy Lukr beer.

The Final Word

Dorf Brewhouse, a new bar in Baner, has brought something truly unique to Pune. The Lukr Tap is not just about drinking beer, it’s about experiencing it in a completely new way.  If you’re someone who enjoys trying new things, this is definitely worth checking out at least once.
