After the second lockdown across the state was lifted,  a phase wise relaxation of norms was announced. In keeping with that, Pune Municipal Commissioner, Vikram Kumar said that Amusement Parks across the city will be allowed to open from tomorrow, October 22, 2021. He also extended the timings for all shops until 11.00 pm and for restaurants and bars until 12.00 in the night.

He stressed on the need for following proper COVID-19 safety guidelines and advised senior citizens over the age of 65. Or with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 to stay indoors to avoid risk of the pandemic.

All employees and visitors in the amusement park are to undergo thermal screening and the premises is to be sanitized regularly. Swimming pools inside amusement parks will remain closed and CCTV monitoring will be mandatory to avoid flouting of rules.

While open rides in Amusement parks can be begin, water parks will still remain closed until further notice.
