Dashrath Jadhav, Pune triathlete stands 3rd in M 60-65 category at IM Dubai 2021. With the restrictions put on by the Governments of most countries due to the covid situations, the mass races all over the world were hampered in 2020. With the beginning of 2021 things have started falling into place on and off in many countries.

The famous Ironman triathlons worldwide had been cancelled in 2020 however, 2021 seems to bring some GudNewz. The Ironman 70.3, one of the most prestigious triathlons took place in Dubai today, 12th March 2021. About 1120 triathletes including elites and amateurs  participated in the event.

The Ironman race includes a total of 3 activities including swimming, running and cycling. 1.2 miles of swimming in the ocean, 56 miles cycling and then running for 13.1 mile. With all these activities mentioned, this triathlon is one of the most difficult to complete.

Dashrath Jadhav, one of the triathletes from Pune who already has bagged Ironman titles previously, was also one of the participants in this event and finished the event with third place in his age category (M 60-65). He finished the entire race in 6hrs 12 minutes and 42 seconds.
