You’d be surprised to know this same cart near MG Road sells 800+ pizzas daily and this is nothing short of a record for Pune!
Started a few years back by two brothers, Rahul and Rupesh Gawade, Shree Krishna Pasta and Pizza has only grown every year. Over the years, their regular customers swear by the flavours of the pizzas and pastas at Shree Krishna. This is by far the most impressive street food cart we have come across. With utensils and equipment that can be seen only at high-end restaurant kitchens are seen here on this cart. High quality pizza oven is the highlight of this setup!
They have a total of 11 varieties on their pizza menu. The sauce is house made and all ingredients are sourced fresh daily. A few pizzas even come with exotic toppings like black olives, jalapenos and what not! We may not call them gourmet pizzas but definitely these are exotic. At Shree Krishna, olive oil and fresh herbs are used in all dishes and still the prices are quite affordable. The prices of pizzas are just between Rs.110/- and Rs. 150/- only. Same goes for the pastas where ingredients are premium and prices are quite reasonable. A plate of any pasta suffices 2 people and is priced between Rs. 180/- and Rs. 250/-.
Red Marinara sauce, White Sauce and Green Pesto; all are freshly made daily avoiding any canned products. This makes these pastas extremely flavourful and light on the stomach.
