During our recent visit, we gorged on their super flavourful continental dishes. Many of you know Laa Unico for their gastronomical experimental dining, but their authentic continental dishes are equally notable. All the dishes are full of flavour, made with fresh ingredients and authentic recipes.
First one to come on the table was Pizza Mellino that was loaded with spinach, roasted pimento, sun dried tomatoes, black & green olives and mozzarella! Variety of flavours bursting on our palate.
Meanwhile, they brought the crowd favorite at Laa Unico, Cheesiano Shots! Crispy phyllo sheets are stuffed with flavourful cheese and served in shot glasses- they are the perfect way to start a party at this gorgeous rooftop!
The right way to judge a continental food at a certain place is to try their Aglio Olio, the basic but the most difficult dish to get it right. At Laa Unico, expect nothing but the most perfect Algio Olio, cooked al dente with lots of olive oil, garlic, olives, chilli flakes and finished with parmesan! Absolutely a must try whenever you are craving a GOOD Pasta!
A couple of their own creations like Star Pizza (cheese filled knots!) and Nawabi Pizza are definitely unique takes and pizza lovers will go bonkers after trying them.
The Pasta Sizzler they served was a true blast of flavours! 3 types of pasta served on a sizzling hot plate with 2 big loaves of garlic bread to eat with the yummy sauces. You get a variety of pastas including spaghetti aglio olio style, penne in fresh tomato sauce and penne in pink cheesy sauce- all in one plate.
The whole vibe of this vegetarian rooftop restaurant is so vibrant and energetic that you’ll never have a dull moment. The food is yummy and highly enjoyable. If you are in the areas of Market Yard, Sadashiv Peth, Parvati, Bibwewadi or Katraj; then Laa Unico has to be the number one restaurant on your list!
