Located on the colourful and the quintessential Parsi dwelling Dastur Meher Road in Pune Camp, Sattari Bakery is a hidden gem. This charming spot is run by the Iranian pastry chef Sajedeh Sattari, who brings the elegance of French-style baking to Pune. Every dessert is baked fresh daily. Nothing from the day before is ever served.
The menu is small but packed with delicate flavors. Sattari Bakery bakes rich, creamy & tiny cheesecakes. These are not your typical light and fluffy ones. They are small, dense and deeply satisfying. Popular flavors include Biscoff and Blueberry. The blueberry compote is made in-house, with real berries and no shortcuts.
Their lemon cake is tailor made for citrus lovers. It’s moist, bright, and topped with coconut cream. The secret? A mix of lemon zest and fresh lemon juice. Then there’s the carrot cake — a house specialty. Baked with lots of grated carrot, it’s hearty and comforting, yet light enough to enjoy in one go.
Chocolate fans, don’t be disappointed. The brownies here are ultra-dense and fudgy, made with more chocolate than flour. Rich, intense, and indulgent. The eclairs are tiny but they explode like a chocolate bomb. Each one is a perfect bite, filled with silky pastry cream.
Another standout treat is the Bombolinis. These Italian-style doughnuts are filled to the brim with premium chocolate ganache. The moment you break them open, the filling oozes out — thick, rich, and divine.
What makes Sattari Bakery truly unique is its philosophy. Sajedeh believes dessert is a luxury, not a meal. That’s why everything here is small in size. Just enough to leave you wanting more. It’s not about filling up — it’s about savoring.
The bakery opens its doors at 2 PM. Until then, Sajedeh and her team are hard at work, baking everything fresh for the day. From the butter to the chocolate, only the best ingredients are used. The quality shines through in every bite.
If you’re in Pune Camp and craving something sweet, head to Sattari Bakery. It’s a little taste of France with an Iranian heart. Have you visited Sattari Bakery before or are you planning your first trip?
