The Diwali Haat Pune has just opened its doors at Monalisa Kalagram, Koregaon Park, bringing together artisans and craftspeople from across India. From 9th to 13th October, visitors can experience a vibrant celebration of handmade art, textiles, jewellery, and décor — all under one creative roof.

This year’s Diwali Exhibit features artisans from Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Assam, West Bengal, Maharashtra, and more. Each stall tells a story of tradition, skill, and creativity passed down through generations.

Step into a world of exquisite textiles. Admire the elegant Patola and Bandhani sarees from Gujarat, known for their intricate patterns and timeless charm. Experience the delicate beauty of Chikankari embroidery from Lucknow and the regal Benaras silk sarees and fabrics that never go out of style.

The exhibit also features stunning Jamdani handlooms from West Bengal, Jacquard woven bed linens from Bijnor, and Ajrakh hand block print sarees and fabrics from Kutch. Textile enthusiasts will love the Indigo fabrics from Gujarat, Kashida handloom from Rajasthan, and Phoolpatti embroidered sarees and dresses from Aligarh. Each piece reflects the diverse textile heritage of India.

Craft lovers will be delighted by the variety of handmade creations on display. Discover bamboo crafts from Assam— bells, birdhouses, and home décor made with natural charm. Ceramic pottery from Khurja, leather puppets and lamps from Andhra Pradesh, and copper handicrafts from Kutch add to the artisanal richness.

From modern and classic Kolhapuri chappals to Jaipur leather footwear and juttis, the exhibit blends tradition with everyday style. Antique and tribal jewellery made from old coins by artisans from Telangana is a highlight for accessory lovers.

Well-known artisanal brands have also joined the Diwali Haat in Pune. Explore House of Aadyaa’s elegant silver jewellery, crafted by Pune’s own Sayalee Marathe. Discover Sawenchi, the Maheshwari saree label by actress Priya Bapat, known for its sophisticated handwoven designs. Evara brings eco-printed silks, and Pure Elements from Mahabaleshwar showcases natural skincare and wellness products.
