Pune will be co-host with Mumbai for the G-20 meeting to be held in December 2022

Where representatives of 20 countries will be in attendance. A team from the Central Government recently met with the Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta and Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar to discuss the planning of the conference. India has agreed to host this year’s G-20 Council.

The guests who will be here for this conference will learn about the history and diverse culture of Pune, hence recently central team inspected the meeting place in Pune. The survey examined the accommodation arrangements for the ministers, their vehicles, security arrangements as well as possible programs.

According to the commissioner, “300 ministers from 20 countries will attend the G-20 summit in Pune. They will learn about the history and diverse culture of Pune. Cultural events will be organized for the guests visiting the city.”

2022 marks the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. “India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Come here and learn about India’s rich history and diverse culture and enjoy India’s hospitality,” PM Narendra Modi had tweeted.
