Plot:
Angry Young Man, Sangram, is famously known as Tarri in his college. He is constantly dragged into fights because of his anger and his temper makes him even more fearless and determined.

Review:
Lalit Prabhakar, fondly called as the chocolate boy is maybe gradually trying to shed off that image. His angry young man persona has grown onto him recently. After ‘Zombivli’ and ‘Sunny’, Lalit Prabhakar is back as ‘Tarri’.

Sangram and his brother from another mother, Pai always dream of getting popular. Sangram’s anger and short tempered attitude keeps dragging him in fights which makes their path to popularity even easier. Terror Tarri slowly starts to break the boundaries of his college and becomes the biggest extortion goon in the city. Parallel to this, blooms Tarri’s lovestory with his classmate Sonali. Tarri’s father has always been against his attitude and kicks him out of the house. How Tarri manages to balance all of this while keeping a check on his anger is how the movie moves forward.

Lalit Prabhakar’s angry young man persona is why the film is even watchable. Gauri Nalawde’s performance is limited to being the damsel in distress and the better half of the protagonist. Shashank Shende as Tarri’s father does a commendable job. Anil Nagarkar as the MLA feels relatively weak and doesn’t impact the storyline much.

The background music especially the Terror Tarri track is a high energy, nervy and enthralling piece. Other than that the songs are pretty much average. The dialogues play an important role in any massy entertainer and should be outright whistle blowers. Whereas in this case, the dialogues are barely leave an impact. The story is tender to begin with but gets even drier in order to balance all the character arcs. The runtime is short but still the film feels dry in patches. Not much action but surely takes out some laughs in the action choreography.

Overall, Tarri is almost a brave enough step towards being a massy entertainer from Marathi Cinema. But fails miserably in all other departments except the massy elements. Watch it only if you like seeing ‘Marathitla Angry Young Man’ Lalit Prabhakar beating people and throwing them all over the place.
