Meet Mr. Farid Shaikh, a photographer himself, who has personally collected more than 3000 cameras till date and is a part of this museum. It is his personal collection of cameras ranging from 200 years old from the Novelty series to the latest DSLRs; from cameras made from cardboard and wood to the metal ones! Mr. Farid is considered to be the largest camera collector of Asia!

Looking at the evolution of the cameras through 3000+ cameras at Farid Shaikh’s Museum, you can experience nostalgia for the last 200 years. His proud collection in this museum features Dadasaheb Phalke’s camera, miniature cameras from 1885, self-timer camera from1945, spy camera from 1938, a surprising gun camera from 1920, a vest camera from 1914 and even a stamp camera from 1910! It is such a priceless collection. You get to witness it, thanks to Mr. Shaikh’s love for photography and cameras!
