Happy Pencils is known for its eco-friendly handmade products. They also make seed pencils and regular pencils using recycled newspaper, with absolutely no wood involved. That itself is impressive, but what caught our attention was their latest creation; a seed ball bouquet.
At first glance, the bouquets look minimal. But the real highlight is the paper ball placed right in the centre. That ball is actually a seed ball!
These seed balls are made using old newspaper, and inside them are different types of seeds from Fenugreek, Agasti, Corriander, Roselle (ambadi), Spinach, Brinjal. They have such seed balls available in 6 different seed types. Each ball comes with a coloured tag so you can identify which seeds have been placed inside.
The idea is very simple. You can choose to plant the seed ball yourself, or just throw it away and let nature do its thing.
