What if we tell you that there\u2019s someone in Pune who churns the most natural mango ice cream in a traditional wooden pot?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shirish Bodhani<\/strong> of the famous <strong>Shirish Traders<\/strong> on <strong>Bhandarkar Road<\/strong> has been taking\u00a0orders of ice creams since 1983 and churns fresh for every order! Using <strong>natural milk<\/strong>,<strong> fruit pulp<\/strong> and <strong>fresh cream<\/strong>, they churn the ice cream in a traditional wooden pot. Let us tell you that they are probably the only ones in Pune that use a wooden pot to churn ice cream. Isn\u2019t that amazing!<\/p>\n<p>Shirish says this flavour of traditional\u00a0ice cream has become rare these days. Their\u00a0ice cream, which is churned in a wooden pot, has natural flavour and dense texture. There is no air infused in this cream making it a fulfilling creamy experience.<\/p>\n<p>Their patrons usually place their orders two in advance. Orders are to be placed in multiples of 1kg. Ice cream is given to you in plastic tubs and it is the epitome of freshness! You can even place an order for a function in your family in bulk quantity. Usually, their <strong>1kg ice<\/strong> <strong>cream makes 20 scoops<\/strong>. The point to note here is that Bodhanis are not selling ice cream in litres but in kilograms.
