“Theatres to re-open across Maharashtra”, is of course, an old good news. But it just got better!

Veteran theatre actor Prashant Damle has announced the upcoming show-dates for his play, “Eka Lagnachi Pudhchi Goshta, a sequel to the classic “Eka Lagnachi Goshta”. The actor made the announcement via a video, published on his facebook page. The first show of the play in Pune is scheduled on October 24, 2021 at Yashwantrao Chavan Natya Mandir, Kothrud at 1.00 pm, followed by the 5.30 pm show at Balgandharva Rangamandir on the same day.

Prashant Damle, known for his humour, timing and quick wit has been instrumental in uplifting the theatre industry in Pune and Maharashtra, overall. His Prashant Damle Fan Foundation has been prolific in mentoring new talent in the industry.

“Eka Lagnachi Pudhchi Goshta” will be the first commercial play to be performed live in Pune after the theatres were shut in April 2021 lockdown during the second wave.
